Can you believe that we are so hung up on ourselves that it takes a four year old to bring us back to reality, even if it was just for a brief time! We need to help this young philanthropist to lead a charge into his interest in clean drinking water. I am a nobody, someone who does not have a lot of the things as far as luxuries. I’m an inbred, backwards, hardheaded, Southern hillbilly and I don’t have much of anything. I have one thing though! I know when I see someone like Mathew trying, I’ll be dang’d if I’m gonna sit on my butt and do nothing!
I have been awakened by this video. I spend my time wasted on my own unreachable dreams. Not any more from this time on. There won’t be a day that I will not keep this young man, and his quest, in my agenda. Someone,somewhere has to step up and support this, even if it is only me. I’m starting with this one man army, (two man army since Mathew Kane has started this) and we are actually going to do something to help this. We take so much for granted! Just turn on the faucet, or press your glass in the door of the frig. These people need some of the only main substance that we are made of. Ever hear anyone say that ‘humans are only arrogant bags of water’ . It’s true, and I’m one of them! But I don’t want that to be the only thing I am, and this young man has given me a way to be more. I AM THIS LAND all the way!
It doesn’t take much to make things happen, and it just takes unity. This isn’t a race problem, this is a people problem. People who cannot take time to sign there name or say a few words for something that is so important to the world we live in, is ridiculous. We are the problem! Can we not support this young man in some way and help our world be a better place. We are all mixed, immigrants, etc… My skin is whiter than a Lilly, and I have been through my prejudice period. I can’t say that I’m proud of that, and anybody who can is not someone I’d want to try to support. I want to try to support someone like Mathew, someone who cares about all people that are born into surroundings they cannot control. Sure they are over there and could do better for themselves, that’s the way I have been thinking, too. But it’s not that easy! They aren’t in a land of opportunity. They have do deal with their surroundings while if we don’t like ours, we just move somewhere else. If we can’t make the least effort on something like this, I guess me and Mathew will have to do it ourselves.
P.S. If any of this jabber has any validity to anyone else, please show your support to Mathew. For you, who actually have the ways, means, or ambition to help and do not, SHAME ON YA! Remember them words, for that is going to be the basis of my new site. It’s going to be the “NO SHAME ON ME SOCIETY” ,and, ‘IF YOUR NAME AIN’T THERE, IT SHOWS YOU JUST DON’T CARE’ is going to be the logo ! This dog will hunt! Don’t let me see your name not there! Look for it soon,and let’s make a difference in our world!
